11 December Christmas Function

  • We are almost at the end of a most successful year for Kaikohe Rotary. On Wednesday evening Rotarians and friends came together to remember the achievements of 2019 and to celebrate the festive season.

  • We sang Christmas carols, enjoyed a wonderful dinner (prepared by Natalie, our fabulous caterer at Kaikohe Bowling Club), undertook a memory test, cracked the mistletoe and enjoyed each other's company.

  • The evening culminated with the arrival of the man in red (Santa Claus), with President-elect Steve Wilce putting on the red suit and beard handing out presents to all those present.

  • It was a fitting end to the year. Kaikohe Rotary would like to thank all members and supporters who have helped us this year. Special thanks to Glenis Sutherland, Vivienne Davies and Liz Henley for organising the evening; to Terry, Dion, Natalie and Kaikohe Bowling Club for being such fantastic hosts; and to the Rotarians from Waipapa who joined us to enjoy the festivities.

  • We wish everyone a very merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in 2020.
