25 May Meeting - Kaikohe Rotary 1954-2016 - World Premiere

  • Bruce Gillies became a Rotarian in 1963. If if you want to know what Kaikohe Rotary has got up to over the years, Bruce is your man. This week Kaikohe Rotarians were treated to the red carpet world premiere of Bruce's latest and greatest multi-media production: a 12-minute Video outlining some of Kaikohe Rotary's best projects.

  • While some of these are well known in our community like establishment and support of the Pioneer Village, support for Literacy Day, and Rotary's worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, there are many more that even longstanding Rotarians were not aware of before watching Bruce's video.

  • Bruce's video reminded us Kaikohe Rotary has a proud history. But it's the future that now matters most. The sun has risen on a new day in Kaikohe and we invite community-minded residents to join us to make that day something really special.
