  • Apologies: Glenis, John V, Ray.

  • Make-ups: Liz, Don, and Stan at Rotary Leadership Forum. Glenis tonight with Paerangi at the Speech Contest in Whangarei.

  • Mounted Games Association is having a Five Nations international tournament at Kaikohe Showgrounds on 5, 6, and 7 December and want Rotary to do the car parking.

  • Meals on Wheels next week, Liz Monday, Donna Tuesday, Sue Wednesday, Valerie Thursday and Friday.

  • Health Awareness at New World - 4 October. Helpers required.

  • Bill proposed a joint meeting with Okaihau Lions at Okaihau - 10 September. Bill to organise.

  • Rotary calendars $15 orders and payment to Donna by next meeting - 27 August

  • Three thank you cards received from Opononi School for the dictionaries.

  • Raffle tossed by Jim and odds worked out and won by Bill.

  • Traverse committee meeting 5.30pm Monday 1 September at Don's: Liz, Jim, Don, Noel, Sue and Adrienne.

  • A discussion was had on the proposed grocery raffle.

  • Meeting closed at 7.39pm.
