31 July Meeting Report (Reporter - Don) The Rotary Club of Kaikohe and the Kaikohe Lions Club enjoyed a combined dinner meeting at the Kaikohe RSA on Thursday 31 July. Following introductions a number of Lions Club members received long service awards. The Guest Speaker was Year 10 student Te Wiremu Mercer. Te Wiremu recently visited Monte Cassino in Italy to support the 28 Māori Battalion commemorations. His trip was sponsored by Kaikohe Lions and the Kaikohe RSA.
