21 May Meeting Report

  • Guests - Dylan Robinson, Graeme Rodley.

  • Apologies - Helen and John, Valerie, Donna.

  • Members observed a moment of silence in memory of Jessie Wilson who was at last week’s meeting and has since passed away.

  • On 4 June the club will have dinner as usual at 6pm but with no meeting to follow so that members can attend Promise and Promiscuity at 7pm.

  • 18 June - Primary Schools’ Speech Contest - dinner at 5:45pm.

  • 25 June - Club Changeover at Wildspur.

  • Five Minute Speaker Ray spoke of floods and droughts and climate change.

  • Guest Speaker - Senior Sergeant Dylan Robinson from the Kaikohe Police.

    • Dylan is originally from London where he served as a policeman for 7 years.

    • He gave a positive summary of recent police activity in Kaikohe.
