    • Andrea outlined a plan for Northland College to provide services for students. Her current caseload is 109 youth, and the volume is increasing.

    • A facility is under development for students’ health checks at the college. This will take the form of a Wellness Centre. The first meet included interested parties as well as student leaders. The facility is now included in the Action Plan for Kaikohe. The facility involves an upgrade of the cottage located on the college grounds. Labour has been volunteered, and the need is now focussed on materials and sponsorship donations.

    • Bruce thanked Andrea for her informative talk. Assistance from the club will be considered.

  • Sue closed the meeting with the comment: “Work fascinates me. I can sit and watch it for hours”.
