Okaihau Kaikohe Traverse 29 September 2013 An outstanding success - thanks to all who helped. 21 people completed the 21km events, 76 people completed the 14km events and 34 people completed the 9km events. A total of 131 participants. Link to the Slide Show and Feedback Form.

25 September Meeting Report Guests - Jessie Wilson, Barbara Wards, Diane Henderson Assistant District Governor Sue Hamnett. Keith reported that Frank is unwell. The club agreed to send flowers. Traverse arrangements finalised. Combined meeting with Kaikohe Lions at Northland College - Speaker Jim Luders. $20 each. Date? Assistant District Governor Sue Hamnett brought greetings from District Governor Phil Ashton. Presidential Citation awarded (for the 2012-2013 year). Waitangi Conference 25-27 April 2014. Area One Combined Dinner Meeting 30 November. Area One Car Rally 16 February. Presidents Elect training in November. Pacific Presidents Elect training in March.
Guest Speaker Diane Henderson - Life Education Trust. Life Education is a charity that provides children with the knowledge to make informed choices about their health, respect others and learn to appreciate their uniqueness. The local Life Education Trust covers the area from Te Hapua to Maromaku to Dargaville. The mobile classroom visits about 80 schools and is visited by about 5,000 students each year. The programme is based on the New Zealand National Curriculum. Each of the 49 Life Education Trusts is locally run and locally funded and is always looking for funds.
