3 April Meeting Report Apologies - Roger and Moengroa, Julie, Liz, Sue, Alan. President Noel thanked Glenis and Cam for hosting the club last week. Joint meeting with Kaikohe Lions at Kohewhata marae - 6:00pm Thursday 18 April. No club meeting on Wednesday 17 April. Thanks to those who assisted the New Zealand Blood Service recently: Glenis, Liz, Sue, Heather. Front page article in the Northern News about the Prison Dictionaries project. Thanks to Bruce Gillies for making 300 labels for the dictionaries. Dictionaries on the way to the schools. Waiting to hear from Milford club re funding support. Email received from RYDA seeking feedback and donations. Hospice Mid Northland is seeking funds for a flag at the Kaikohe shop. Heritage Kaikohe fundraising event 14 April. Dare Foundation considering amalgamation with Blue Light. Treasurer reminded members of the importance of putting in apologies when they are unable to attend a club meeting. Brief discussion of the plan for Rotary Corner opposite the Rawiri Taiwhanga Park. Five Minute Speaker Don spoke of his visit to the Christchurch red zone. - Committee meetings followed.
