Meeting Report - 20 February 2013
  • President Noel welcomed a small group of members and Les Hewitt from Dapto Australia
  • The combined clubs’ Car Rally starts at the Kerikeri RSA at 2:45pm on Sunday 24 February and finishes with dinner at the Ohaeawai Hotel at 6:00pm.
  • Volunteers will be needed for the Northern Crossing on 18 May 2013.
  • Funds are available for an International Youth Exchange.
  • RYDA 21 March.
  • Barbara Holdem was sent flowers for both her mother’s recent death and as she is in hospital.
  • Bill spoke of plans for “Rotary Corner” including fencing and picnic tables
  • Speaker Les Hewitt spoke of his 37 years in Rotary, five times as president and more particularly of his ongoing connection with New Zealand particularly Gisborne where he did a number of exchanges as minister of the Uniting Church.
  • Committee meetings followed.
