Forum Discussion

Noel has emailed everyone a copy of the list of Rotary Club Officers and their roles for the coming year.

Two main groups headed by Bill Holdem (Director – Community Service) and Keith Hingston (Vocational/International/Foundation and new generations).

  1. Subs – Jim working on a budget. It has been suggested that we pay our fees at the beginning the year and this puts us on par and to meet any deadlines we have to meet regarding foundations etc.
  2. We need to decide what the club needs to do socially.
  3. Spend time at the Monument Hill gardens.
  4. Fundraising efforts and what do we need to do, and what can be brought to the table. Not forgetting the age old ones like the catering at the two shows.
  5. Look for new members.
  6. What projects we can look at.
  7. Look for funding outlets to enable us to carry on our projects
  8. Time and date for the Traverse to be set.
  9. Maintain format of bulletin.
  10. Maintain our weekly meetings and we maintain great strength.
  11. Meeting closed with a thought of the day from Jim Shaw.
