  5. District Governor visiting combined clubs meeting in September.
  6. Area One has contributed $1,050 for water tanks in Vanuatu.

  2. Guest Speaker Amanda Breton works for Hospice Mid Northland as Manager, fundraising and awareness.
  1. She has a background in retail management, and described her role with the hospice as the best job she has ever had.
  2. Most of the work of Hospice Mid Northland is supporting terminally ill people and their families in their own homes.
  3. 50% of their funding comes from the government.
  4. The hospice shops play an important role in fundraising.
  5. The organisation relies on volunteer support, especially in their shops in Kerikeri and Kaikohe.
