- Conference Registrations close 16 April.
- Presidential Citation details have been sent in. We may have missed the deadline.
- The club is sponsoring Parehuia Tito-Paraone from Northland College for the Science Extravaganza in Whangarei 11-13 July.
- Volunteers still needed for the Mayoral Cycle Challenge 15 April and the Northern Crossing 21 April (see above). Jim is coordinating the Northern Crossing effort.
- The Auction planned for 28 April is postponed. New date still to be decided.
- The new date for the Rotary Youth Driver Awareness programme is 10 May.
- Keith has received a card from John and Judy Ward, of the Iowa friendship exchange group.
- Elizabeth and Bruce’s guest from Iowa was pleased to get his passport back in time for his return home after it was found under the bed in Paihia. He made a donation of $50 that will go towards the cost of the water tank at the medical centre in Fiji along with another $50 from the Sunshine Fund.
- Five Minute Speaker Noel entertained us with his account of his annual sojourn to Canterbury to shoot Canada geese.
- The group have been going together for 20 years.
- Shooting up to 70 Canada geese on a good day.
- They also had time for salmon fishing on the Rakaia river.
- (No Guest Speaker - Committee Meetings).
